==Early life and family==
Simpson attended [[Uppingham School]] and [[Framlingham College]]. He has 3 brothers, Will, Ed and Richard;— Will was born in 1980 and is the vocalist and guitarist in [[Brigade (band)|Brigade]] and Edd was born in 1981 and is the lead singer and guitarist in an alternative band called Union Sound Set. Richard is 20 and was brought up by his Mother in Cumbria.
