Hi. I made my first edit at Commons September 26 2005, when uploading this image. Since then I have become increasingly active at Commons. Last year a lot of my activity here was following copyvios from en (where I am an admin) that had made their way to Commons, but this year I have been doing a lot of work here independently. I've uploaded a large number of images, many of which have been about Canadian history or photographs of musicians tagged as CC-BY-SA at Flickr (which FlickrLickr doesn't currently sort, to my knowledge), and I have done a lot of work in the Category namespace. I'm also active at Template:Deletion requests (edit count). I've been thinking about requesting adminship since an incident a few months ago when I found someone uploading album covers and screenshots by looking at recent changes and could not find an admin on IRC. I feel quite comfortable with Commons:Policy, although I have made a mistake or two, and I would like to be able to help clean up copyvios and improperly sourced images.
