Review of C.Q.

C.Q. (1984 TV Movie)
6/10
A curious watch.

Norman is an amateur radio user, his life changes dramatically when he makes contact with a man attempting a single handed world crossing.

It's a very curious one off drama, the plot is almost bizarre, but it has a unique feel, and as such it proves to be very watchable. As you watch you have no idea whatsoever which way it's going to go, but it proves to be an interesting watch.

Norman's interactions with his long suffering wife are good.

I'm a big fan of the late Michael Elphick, and he is excellent here.

Patrick Field is very entertaining as Norman's punk son, wonderfully of the time, when the punk look was hugely in, great makeup.

Very much of the time, but watchable, 6/10.
