- Title role in "Macbird!" -- a notorious counterculture drama by Barbara Garson which satirically depicted President Lyndon Johnson as MacBeth and his wife, Lady Bird, as Lady MacBeth. Village Gate Theater, 1967.

- (1974) He acted in William Inge's play, "The Dark at the Top of the Stairs," with Betsy Palmer, Marrian Walters, directed by George Keathley at the Ivanhoe Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
