When Steven Soderbergh remade ratpack favourite Ocean’s 11 in the early 2000s, he not only assembled one of the all-time-great ensemble casts – he reinvigorated the heist movie in the process. First, in 2001, came Ocean’s Eleven, with all its swaggering Vegas charm. Then came Ocean’s Twelve in 2004, bringing greater ambition with multiple European heists. And then, capping it all off in 2007, was the all-glam Ocean’s Thirteen, dialling up the star power even further to deliver one last great score.
With the entire legendary Ocean’s trilogy now available on 4K, it’s the ideal time to revisit the legendary filmsat home – here’s every crew member you need to pull off the ultimate heist.

Danny Ocean (George Clooney)
The brains of the operation. Danny Ocean always has a scheme and a dream on the go, steps ahead of everyone else – and, crucially, always multiple moves ahead of even the most high-tech casinos.

Fox will keep its Missing Persons Unit on the job for another season.
The network has renewed the drama series Alert: Missing Persons Unit for a third season in 2024-25. The series will remain in production after season two wraps, which will bank episodes leading into next season and potentially serve as a hedge against a possible IATSE strike in the summer.
Alert is one of just two dramas Fox has aired in 2023-24 as the network relied heavily on its unscripted and animated rosters, which weren’t affected by last year’s dual strikes. Fox has yet to make a call on the other drama, The Cleaning Lady.

Exclusive: Fox has given a Season 3 pickup to Alert: Missing Persons Unit. The renewal of the procedural drama, starring Scott Caan and Dania Ramirez, has been expected.
To make filming more cost-efficient for series producers Sony Pictures Television and Fox Entertainment, Alert will remain in continuous production, segueing from the abbreviated-by-the-strikes second season to Season 3, whose episode count is still Tbd, I hear. There is an additional benefit to filming Seasons 2 and 3 back-to-back — Fox will have fresh episodes of the series in case production is disrupted by an IATSE strike this summer.
There is no word yet on Fox’s other outstanding drama series, The Cleaning Lady. As Deadline has reported, it also is looking good for renewal.

Welcome to The B-Side, from The Film Stage. Here we talk about movie stars! Not the movies that made them famous or kept them famous, but the ones that they made in between.
Today we have a conversation about what it means to be underappreciated. Not underrated necessarily. But underappreciated. And, boy, is Don Cheadle underappreciated. The Oscar-nominated actor has been elevating films in supporting roles since the late ‘80s.
Our guest today is Mitchell Beaupre, senior editor at Letterboxd.
Our B-Sides today include: The Assassination of Richard Nixon, Traitor, The Guard, and No Sudden Move. There is also a brief-but-worthwhile tangent on the Scott Caan-directed (!) indie The Dog Problem. Also the Sundance darling Manic from the early 2000s.
We discuss Cheadle’s incredible ability to listen as an actor. There may not be a better active listener working today. We offer some context into legend Steve Martin (who...

The Missing Persons Unit is undergoing some changes for the second season, and these two new characters very much sound designed to shake things up. Alisha-Marie Ahamed has been cast in a series regular role of Wayne Pascal and Gil Bellows will be heavily recurring as Inspector Hollis Braun in Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2 (premiering March 5), TV Insider has learned. Wayne is a master hacker and an old friend of Jason’s (Scott Caan) he brings in; they worked together in Afghanistan. The “spitfire techie” is serving her house arrest sentence in a dingy motel and has a heart of gold beneath an edgy exterior. The fact that she’s a woman (and hot) is something Jason never told his ex-wife Nikki (Dania Ramirez), which raises issues even as she’s planning her wedding to Mike (Ryan Broussard). Season 1 did end with Nikki and Jason sharing a moment on the couch.

Fox is expanding the Season 2 cast for Alert: Missing Persons Unit, from John Eisendrath and Jamie Foxx. Alisha-Marie Ahamed (Family Law) is joining as a new series regular and Gil Bellows (Ally McBeal) has been tapped to heavily recur opposite Scott Caan and Dania Ramirez in the procedural drama.
