CANANDAIGUA — Mercy Flight Central has announced that its fundraising event called “Night of Flight” on Sept. 28 drew a crowd of over 120 supporters and raised more than $200,000 to support the organization’s mission of providing life-saving air medical services across Upstate New York.

Guests enjoyed an evening of hands-on experiences, including technology demonstrations and interactive simulations, with the highlight being an exclusive showcase of Mercy Flight Central’s latest addition, the AW119MKII helicopter. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the cutting-edge medical equipment and aviation technology that enhance the level of care provided by Mercy Flight’s crews.

“The Night of Flight was an incredible success, and we are deeply grateful to all who attended, donated, and support our mission,” said Jeff Bartkoski, president and CEO of Mercy Flight Central. “The funds raised will significantly enhance our ability to continue providing critical care to those in need, regardless of their financial situation.”

Bartkoski also acknowledged the dedication of the event’s sponsors, volunteers, and staff for their efforts in bringing the Night of Flight to life. All proceeds will go directly to supporting the organization’s life-saving mission, ensuring that Mercy Flight Central can continue to offer its services to patients in critical need of emergency air transport. The event not only raised funds but also raised awareness about the critical care provided by the team of skilled pilots, paramedics, and nurses who are on call 24/7.

Mercy Flight Central extends its gratitude to all who contributed to the success of making Night of Flight an extraordinary event. Together, their support makes a difference in the lives of those who rely on its services during their most challenging moments.
