| ShortSummary = Jeff continues to try to get Hayley back until Stan and Francine confront him and tells him to leave her alone. Taking Reginald's advice to give Hayley some space, Jeff decides to confront Hayley once and for all. It is later revealed that Jeff and Hayley ran away and, after unintentionally killing a dog that was implanted with Haley's tracking device, Stan and Francine offer the public a reward of $50,000 to stop the wedding. This causes mass hysteria with 97 people killed off in a freak bus accident with one jetsioned and killing [[Dope & Faith|Stan's satanist friend]]. Later on, they are eventually found, and Stan and Francine are tricked by Jeff into giving him the $50,000, thus letting Stan allow them to get married. Meanwhile, in response of Jeff and Hayley's marriage announcement, Roger and Steve dress up as Wheels and the Legman (from the episode [[American Dad! (season 3)|Haylias]]) and try to stop the wedding and get the reward themselves, until Roger is under the influence of Turkish amphetamines, landing them in Shanghai.

| ShortSummary = During a memorial service for the 97 people killed in the bus crash, Francine and Stan have a clash over how to raise Steve in retrospect to Hayley running away. Francine wishes to be more lenient, but Stan is convinced that they need to be firm with him. They decide to have a BMX race to determine how to raise Steve. Stan falls down and severely injures himself at the start of the race, making Francine the winner. However, Stan creates a clone of Steve (after being inspired by Duper's clone after the real Duper died in a bus crash last episode), setting up a new contest with Francine to determine who has better parenting skills. Francine raises the original Steve very passively and Steve grows up as a lazy, fat video game player, but Stan raises Steve's clone, Steve-A-Rino, very strictly and grows up as an athletic genius. But Stan finds Steve-A-Rino has ran away, and Francine declares herself as the better parent. However, She finds decapitated cat heads in Steve's backpack, and Stan declares himself as the better parent as Steve-A-Rino only ran away. However, it turned out that "Steve" was actually Steve-A-Rino in disguise, turned into a cat-killing sociopath from Stan's regiment and wanting Steve's easy life. But with his identity exposed, Steve-A-Rino now plans to kill the original Steve with Stan and Francine forced to save their son before it's too late. Once at the abandoned magazine factory, they find Steve-A-Rino's lair as he is able to kill real Steve. In the end, with Steve-A-Rino shot by a cat, and Stan and Francine realize they need to work together to raise Steve correctly. Meanwhile, Roger selfishly decides to go after Hayley and Jeff to steal the money they tricked Stan into giving them for his own idiotic ideas. When they refuse to give him the money, Roger begins making an annoying noise which is, oddly enough, the name of one of the staff at the hotel Hayley and Jeff were at. They flee via helicopter to a private boat, only to find he is the captain. They flee again. Finally confronting them at the Great Wall of China, Roger finds that Hayley and Jeff have been using their money to get away from him, making his victory a rather hollow one as there were only a few hundred dollars left.

After feeling slighted by Stan, who walks out to get a sandwich by the time he asked Stan for one, Sal makes Francine remember everything, including her old desire to be a stand-up comedian and that Hayley had a twin brother who died due to Stan refusing to pay for vaccinations. Stan ends up living alone when Francine is offered the chance to have a television show based on her life made; however, it is canceled due to racist jokes. Stan learns his lesson about not talking to Francine and agrees that the idea of moving her foster parents to their town is a bad idea, seeing that talking about their problems is not as bad as he thought. Meanwhile, Steve brings home a female fish to keep Klaus company. However, after having children with the fish, Klaus finds he detests her due to her eating their offspring, burying her alive in the yard.
