- @Mlpearc: I'm glad you asked! Firstly, the account creator flag allows one to create more than 6 accounts per 24 hour period. Secondly, it allows one to bypass certain critical username spoof checks, which should obviously be done with extreme caution as usernames under this category are often almost identical to existing ones, almost identical usernames are often attempts at "spoofing" established users or might otherwise cause confusion as to identities. Thirdly, it allows one to bypass the title blacklist, which is almost never a desirable condition as titles added to the blacklist have been generally added for a very good reason (BLP violations, repeat promo/spam, etc.). Obviously (or perhaps not so obvious), I would consult carefully with other more experienced ACC users before bypassing any checks - such bypasses are not meant to be done lightly. - @Mlpearc: No worries, ask as many as you feel appropriate. :) I've found the Similar Account Workflow chart to be extremely useful in this regard. I use the contribs tool (for latest contribs), the user log tool (for account creation dates), and I make sure to check globally. I also check the username list and sometimes even try variations of a username in case the automated regex matching might have missed something. Waggie (talk) 18:27, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
